What’s the difference between standard, deluxe, and premium?

The standard is the picture of the arrangement that you see on our Website. The deluxe version is the same design of the arrangement with more of the same flowers used. Premium version is the largest version of the design with even more flowers than the deluxe. Note that the design of the arrangement will be the same in all three choices, standard, deluxe and premium, just the amount of flowers used will be upgraded. There’s no change in design, for example if the arrangement is short and compact it will remain short and compact in the deluxe and premium versions. You spend more money and we add more of the same flowers to your arrangement.


What information is required to place an order?

To place an order you would need the recipient's complete information including name, delivery address, phone number(s), and then you would simply pick the arrangement of your choice from our website sfflowershop.com or just call us at 415-929-5200 and one of our floral professional staff members will assist you.

Furthermore we would need your credit or debit card information including the card number, expiration date, and billing address and security code for your credit or debit card.

Lastly we would like to have your direct contact number and email address in order to contact you should we need it to complete your order.


Why do you need the recipient's phone number?

Just in case the recipient is not at home at the time of the delivery. Please note that we do not call the recipient before the delivery attempt. It is only used in case there is no answer at the door or for us to get further information such as a code to enter the building and leave delivery inside the building, or if the doorbell does not work.


How do I know if my online order went through?

You will receive a confirmation email from Fillmore Florist immediately after placing your order online. If you do not receive a confirmation email it could mean that you did not complete your order. For further assistance please call us at 415-929-5200 and we will be happy to take your order over the phone.


How would I know that my order is delivered on the due date?

If you have placed your order online you will receive a delivery confirmation via email. However if you placed your order via phone we will notify you should there be a problem with your delivery. Further, your order will be delivered on the date specified at the time of placing your order. If there is any problem with the delivery of your order we will let you know by phone or email that has been provided by you.


Can I place order for pick up at the flower shop?

Yes, you can place your order for pick up at our flower shop during business hours. No delivery fee. Only the person who placed and paid for order can pick up the floral arrangement or plants at our flower shop by providing valid photo identification documents like drivers license, passport.


Can I cancel my order?

Yes, you can cancel your order any time before 9:00 A.M. on or before the day of the delivery in order to get a full refund.


Can I cancel my order on Holidays (e.g. Valentine's Day, Mother's day, Thanksgiving, Christmas)?

Yes, you can cancel your order two days before delivery date in order to get a full refund credited back to your account.


Can I change the delivery date and address?

Yes, you can change the delivery date and delivery address any time before 9:00 A.M. of the delivery date. In case of holidays such as the ones mentioned above you can change the delivery date and delivery address at least two days prior the date of delivery.


What happens to my order if the recipient is not home?

If nobody is home to receive your order our delivery driver will attempt to deliver to your neighbors, leave it in front of your apartment door, leave it in a safe place, etc. and if all else fails we will take the flower arrangement back to the shop. We will then try to contact the recipient and re-deliver at a more convenient time.


What should I do if I want a custom made arrangement and I do not find it online?

You can call us and place your order on the phone describing what you would like. If you are placing your order online click on Custom Arrangements and answer a few questions, fill in a description of what you would like and we will do our best to fulfill your needs and wants.


Can I make minor modifications to an arrangement such as a flower or a particular color?

Yes, you can make changes to your order by calling us at 415-929-5200 or write the changes you would like in the "special instructions" box in the order process. We will try our best to accommodate your request.


Will my arrangement look as the picture shown on your website?

Yes, your arrangement will look similar to the picture. In some cases if a flower is not available we will substitute it with a flower that is similar in appearance, color and value.


If I have multiple orders going to the same address at the same date and time, what will there be the delivery charge?

The delivery charge for up to four orders going to the same address at the same time and date, will cost only one delivery fee. For five or more orders delivered to the same address at the same date and time, there will be additional $2.00 per each additional order.


What is the warranty on deliveries?

We guarantee the life and freshness of all flower deliveries at least four days from the date of delivery. If you keep your flower arrangement in cool place, change the water and refresh the cut of the flowers, your arrangement will last longer than 4 days. In case you do not know how to take care of your flowers you can call our shop and get advice from our professional and knowledgeable staff members.


What should I do if my card message is too long and does not fit in the appropriate box?

You can send us your message via email at tomyflorist@gmail.com. We will then cut your message and place it in an envelope and deliver it to the recipient with your order.


Can I have my order delivered at a specific time?

We do not guarantee any specific delivery time. You can make a note regarding your desired time of delivery. We will try our best to accommodate your request but we do not guarantee a specific time.


How do I know what time my order will be delivered?

We always try to deliver your orders as soon as possible. We start delivering flowers everyday starting at 10:00 A.M. until 8:00 P.M. Home deliveries will be delivered during the day, and business addresses will be delivered during the recipient business hours.


Can I place a same day delivery order?

Yes, we we welcome same day delivery orders. If you place your order by 2:00 P.M. we will guarantee same day delivery. For most parts of San Francisco and surrounding areas we take same day delivery orders until 4:00 P.M. everyday. Call us at 415-929-5200 for more information.


How far is Fillmore Florist's delivery range?

We at Fillmore Florist San Francisco deliver nationwide. Deliveries in San Francisco and surrounding areas will be made by our experienced designers and hand delivered by our delivery team in vans. Deliveries outside San Francisco areas will be made and delivered by the local qualified florists in the recipient's town.


What are somethings I can do to take care of my flower arrangement?

Make sure the container is full with water (In case of foam make sure it is fully soaked with water).

Keep your flower arrangement in a cool place, away from heat and direct sunlight.

Cut the steams of your flowers about half of an inch with a sharp knife every other day.

Remove all the leaves that appear to be inside the water.

Use regular tap water when you change or add water to your flower arrangement.

If your order is delivered wrapped in cellophane or in a box you must cut the steams and place them in an appropriate container full of water immediately when you receive your order. Then follow the above care recommendations.


Will my order be delivered in a box?

No your order will be designed in a glass vase or basket or container and will be hand delivered by our delivery personal.


How do I take care of my indoor plant deliveries?

The internet is always the best source to learn more about caring for your plant. We recommend researching the care for your particular plant. However the following is a general guide.

Usually your plant is already watered right before delivery.

Most indoor plants require indirect sunlight and water once a week.

When you water your plants you must make sure that there is no accumulation of water under the plant. Under the plant must always be dry.

Use plant food three to four times a year.

In case your plant grows fast, re-pot your plant every 1 to 2 years to a larger container.
